I thought "this won't take long, there can't be that many branches to make routes for - maybe 20". 3 days later and the total was over 100!

NMP:
irl.r108@R122_Bar   (53.435646,-6.292709)
irl.r122@R108_Bar   (53.435630,-6.292720)

WAW Galway (irl.waw)
New wp @ http://www.openstreetmap.org/?lat=54.702336&lon=-8.606538 (also for concurrent R230)
Make +X253935 visble (Stroove) or add a wp for the lighthouse or bay just to the south
Replace +X458179 by a visible wp at the point view just to the south ?
L2301 is not indicated on OSM nor GM nor GSV; a signs says "AUGHRIS HEAD/PIER 2km"
Carn -> Car for Carna, the route has no "Car" label yet
LocLan is off
LocLan (for the bay of Loch na Lannach) might be called Kee for Keeraunnagark South (GM) ?
KilCli -> Dun or DunPoi for Dunlicky Point ?
R268 -> R247/R268
R246 -> R246/R268
N15_S -> N15/L3306 ?

I have not checked for anything about concurrent tourist routes (IE100, AtlDr,...)

WAW Tralee (irl.wawtra)
Lak -> L4422 (GSV)
Lis -> L4429 (GSV)
Kil -> L4756 ?
DroW -> L8984, I cannot find Dro but L8984 is signed (GSV)
Sha -> Inc for Inchee (GM) ?
MainSt -> SeaTer ?
Bah should be renamed, I cannot find anything like that. There are numerous possibilities but no perfect one I'd suggest
Rea -> L4015_S (GSV) or Kel ?
Gor_N -> L4015_N (GSV) ?
Fea -> hidden wp, there is no junction
StaRd is not indicated, do we need the wp? GSV 2011 has no road number but GSV 2019 indicates L7517
Lon -> L4033
Remove Cah, not indicated anywhere and wp is not needed for shaping
Gow -> L8036_x
Bal -> L8036_x
DerEast -> L8010
TonCro -> L6515
Gle must be moved, there is no junction
CarCas -> L6010 ? OSM indicates it, GSV only from 2011

Must be considered for everything concurrent of course (N, R, tourist)

WAW Galway (irl.waw)
more GSV checks for road numbering:
Far -> L2024
She -> L1016
Par -> L1022
FinDem -> L1018
Mul -> L8561
SeaRd -> L4101 (OSM only)
StaRd -> L4105 (OSM only), other end of the road has a sign L71114 ?
Att -> L11031
Lec -> L18334
GolfCouRd -> L1802
Kil is off
Sha -> L5435 (OSM only)
NRos -> L54383
Move Bel to next junction to the north, L5441
Aug -> L5294
Cas_N -> L3101
Tul -> L2063
LegGle -> L1515
Kil_N -> L1425
CarRd -> L1195
LagNaCar_W -> L1213
LagNaCar_E GSV outdated but likely also L1213_x
Mon -> L1184
Veagh -> L5024
Bal_C -> L5114
MonCot -> L1971

I'll continue the review when it is addressed so that I can double-check it.

WAW Carrickfinn Beach branch (irl.wawcfb)
Add wp for Braade Strand where the route turns left

WAW Malin Beg branch (irl.wawmab)
End -> SilStrVP for Silver Strand View Point ?

WAW Mullaghmore branch (irl.wawmul)
End in the middle of the route makes no sense. I think it'S  a copy-paste error. We might call it Mul for Mullaghmore.

WAW Benwee Head branch (irl.wawben)
PortClo -> PorClo or Por for Portacloy according to OSM (also no sign for anything else at junction according to GSV)

WAW Blacksod Harbour branch (irl.wawblh)
TooRd is indicated being L5285 on OSM
AnGeaMor -> L5233
Add one or two visible wps b/n AnGeaMor and L5231; OSM indicates L numbers and since it is a dead end street, it would be nice to have more wps

WAW Keel Beach branch (irl.wawkeb)
R319_W is atypical, you never use the route name when it just "extends" at the end of the route. Should we call it "WAW"?

WAW Clare Island branch (irl.wawcla)
Replace hidden wp by Eml http://www.openstreetmap.org/?lat=53.757803&lon=-9.884959
R378_E is atypical, you never use the route name when it just "extends" at the end of the route. Should we call it "WAW"?

WAW Islands View branch (irl.wawisl)
Add wp in Tully
RadnOi -> RenBea (Renvyle Beach) ?

WAW Bray Head branch (irl.wawbra)
Remove Dys since it is not a junction and not required at all

WAW Geokaun Mountain branch (irl.wawgeo)
Remove Dys since it is not a junction and not required at all
Geo -> SheView for Shepherd View ?

WAW Derrynane House branch (irl.wawder)
Str is indicated being L4013 on OSM but no signs on 2019 GSV

WAW Baltimore branch (irl.wawbal)
Ini -> L8214
LagBri -> L8213

WAW Rosguil branch (irl.wawrog)
Col is signed Mevag... Grav...
Concurrency with R248 broken ("R248/L10421" or "R248/L1032" missing)

WAW Rosses Point branch (irl.wawrop)
L7313 -> R291/L7313 ?

WAW Old Head branch (irl.wawohe)
ohe -> FalStr for Fallduff Strand? If so, the route name should also be changed - note that there is another Old Head branch irl.wawold

WAW Silver Strand (Rusheen Bay) branch (irl.wawrus)
Sil -> SilStr ?

WAW Rinville Park branch (irl.wawrip)
MainSt is L71083 on OSM
New wp @ http://www.openstreetmap.org/?lat=53.247530&lon=-8.949743 (L4101 on OSM, so L4101_S)

WAW Slea Head Drive (irl.wawsle)
LatMore -> L5004

WAW Skellig Ring (Valentia) (irl.wawval)
BalCas -> L11920

All routes checked.

I like that. I'm doing WAW labels for every branch where they meet the WAW, as befits auxiliary routes and I should have done to begin with. And probably ought to do the same for the main route, where it meets branches label them 'WAWKeB' and the like.

WAW Geokaun Mountain branch (irl.wawgeo)
Geo -> SheView for Shepherd View ?
sign says Geokaun Mountain, so added that second word.
WAW Old Head branch (irl.wawohe)
ohe -> FalStr for Fallduff Strand? If so, the route name should also be changed - note that there is another Old Head branch irl.wawold
sign off WAW mainline says "Old Head", Discovery Point sign says "Old Head"

The Discovery Point sign for WAWOld says "Old Head of Kinsale", so I will change OHe -> Old, and Old -> OHK with the name change to show 'of Kinsale'.

MainSt is L71083 on OSM
The number doesn't appear on signs, despite such 5+-digit numbers being signed on very minor roads (which is what 5+-digit numbers are there for, not former N roads signed as through routes between N and R roads - it should really be an L1xxx, L2xxx or L3xxx top-tier L road). But that's moot as the point is relabeled "WAW" anyway.

Agree. I did the same for tourist routes in Germany (the very few routes in Germany). If you go this way, there are a few more cases in WAW system where we should use WAW or WAWxxx labels now.

I've done every within-system location where it makes sense.

ok, go through the data errors and NMPs (there are more now), and activate the system.
