The
eursf system covers freeways which do not belong to any other system. It is a
Select system because we cannot ensure that the system is "complete". See
manual.
But we have some freeway routes in the system which are concurrent to other systems so that they are better highlighted in mapview. These are routes in regions where no dedicated motorway system exists, e.g. in Nordics.
OTOH, we have similar routes, e.g.
nzlmot, which are an own system in TM. And those systems can be considered to be complete to the best of our knowledge. The criteria is that they are signed with the motorway shield.
We will split of some systems from eursf to make own systems, e.g.:
- dnkmot (Denmark Motorvejen)
- ltuaut (Lithuania Automagistralės)
- normot (Norway Motorveier)
- swemot (Sweden Motorvägar)
This will happen soon. Expect changes to those routes:
- If a actual eursf route is not signed as motorway but is concurrent to a route of another system, the route will be removed. Please use the concurrent routes to map your travel.
- If a acutal eursf route is only partially signed as motorway and is concurrent to a route of another system, the route will be truncated. Please use the concurrent routes to map your travel for that segment.
- If a actual eursf route is signed as motorway, it will be moved to the new system. No change required.
- If a acutal eursf route is not signed as motorway and is not concurrent to a route of another system, the route will stay in eursf as-is. No change required.
Changes are notified as usual:
