For what its worth, I saw two Future I-87 Corridor signs along US 17 SB, between the NC/VA border and Elizabeth City, NC this evening. One shortly south of the state border, the other on the north end of Bypass US17 (north of Elizabeth City).
Don't know if that warrants Future I-87 designation on the HB, but I figure I'd throw it out.
