OH: new I-475/US23 interchanges
« on: March 08, 2021, 05:49:13 pm »
ODOT information here.

Looks like there will be two new interchanges on I-475. One at US20A (which they are currently not working on), and one at Dorr St, which is not open, but progressing along. The Dorr St interchange is of particular interest because it looks like ODOT will be extending the OH246 designation to the interchange. Currently, there is a new OH246 sign driving eastbound away from I-475; however no other new signs or changes to the ones at the US20/OH246 intersection.  Looks like they jumped the gun putting it there.

I travel frequently through here, and can update when the interchange(s) is(are) open.

Thanks for the report. I'll keep an eye on it, but will appreciate updates since I doubt I'll be in the area anytime soon.

Was through here this past weekend. Interchange isn't open yet, but looks like it should be open very soon, with signs installed and everything. Reports say it'll be open by August, but I reckon it'll be earlier. Sure enough, OH246 will end at the interchange; end sign is up at the new roundabout. And the exit number will be 11.

Thank you for the reminder! I'll periodically check with ODOT for an update.

This interchange opened yesterday. (https://www.aaroads.com/forum/index.php?topic=16419.msg2644845#msg2644845)

I guess I should keep the thread in this subforum for the US 20A interchange down the line.

Thanks. Changes made locally to OH 246, US 23, and I-475 files.

Looks like the 'new' US-20A interchange will be opening up when they complete the construction on the SB I-475 lanes.

GSV was there in Sept '24, and you can see all the on/off-ramps for the new interchange completed.

Project page lists Fall 2024 for the opening as well.
