NE: Business Loop I-80 in Pine Bluffs
« on: May 08, 2021, 11:10:49 pm »
Doesn't look like this is signed anywhere in Nebraska anymore.  The sign from I-80 just said Link 53B and on US30, the only business I-80 sign is right past the state line once you pass a Wyoming Port of Entry sign.  I suppose per the conventions that that makes the Wyoming side now a business spur.

Came across this a little while back; forgot to do anything about it. I don't see any signage on the NE side either.
Yes, the Nebraska side should go.
Don't know about any conventions per se; I'd think that the states decide whether something is a loop or spur, and we'd just reflect that signage whether it makes sense or not. Signage on the WY side still shows it as a Business Loop.
This immediately made me think of another loop on only one side of a state line, in Glenrio TX. And sonofagun, it's in the HB as a Spur. Guess I gotta change that too...
ISTR some conversation about a route in Colorado that might have gone from BL -> BS or vice versa.
Anyone know of any other weird cases, loops on only 1/2 of a state line, loops that should be spurs or spurs that should be loops, or similar Alanlandian oddities?

The one you're remembering is the I-76 Atwood/Sterling.  In that thread, I was told it was a spur instead of a loop because it didn't go back to I-70.

Just to make sure, I don't have to do anything with the WY half, right (since it's already in as a Loop)?

As far as I'm concerned, that's correct.

Cool, I'll take care of the Colorado stuff soon then.
