DEU-BY: St2309 / St2312 downgrade

A news article from April 2021 reports about an approved downgrade of St2309 and St2312 to local roads in Aschaffenburg.

A presentation of the road authority from December 2020 (slide 7) reports about a planned downgrade of St2309 through Miltenberg (including the old River Main bridge) which was already approved with the plan approval order from 2015 for a bypass junction reconstruction.

The exact downgrade dates are not given and official BAYSIS map is not yet updated.

I never managed to clinch a segment of St2309 in Aschaffenburg which must be affected by the administrative measure. It is the last segment in the NW of Bavaria despite it is so close to my (former) home. I'm happy that I don't have to clinch it anymore

Mit der Verkehrsfreigabe wird die St 2310 zwischen Miltenberg und Bürgstadt vom KVP bis zur AS der St2309 zur Kreisstraße abgestuft. Ebenso wird die St 2309 von der Anschlussstelle Miltenberg-Nord, Industriegebiet Großheubach Auweg bis zur St 2310(alt) zur Ortsstraße abgestuft. Auch die Kreisstraße MIL 5 hat ihre Verbindungsfunktion geändert und wird von der B 469 Anschlussstelle Gewerbegebiet Miltenberg-West bis zur Einmündung in die St 2310(alt) zu einem öffentlichen Feld- und Waldweg abgestuft.

The Aschaffenburg downgrade was not yet implemented according to BAYSIS.

St2309 was rerouted through Aschaffenburg according to an news article from late 2022. BAYSIS was not yet updated in spring 2023 but it is now. St2312 was also truncated, and a new St2314 appeared
