PA: PA 128 Alignment in Freeport
« on: June 18, 2021, 08:55:53 pm »
While clinching PA 128 yesterday, I noticed that southbound traffic is now being directed to use SR 128 instead of SR 6128 as PA 128 NB had been using for a while.  (I cannot show the signs directly due to old GSV and the VideoLog functionality, though I can show you the PA 128 SB shield on 5th St at Market St from SR 6128A PA 128 SB shield is shown on SR 6128 here; however, the shield here (that you cannot see) is pointing to follow the direction shown in the previous photo along SR 128 instead of SR 6128.)

Anyway, I am adding points in Freeport to show PA 128 fully following the official SR 128 routing and not along the SR 6128 routing for the southbound direction.

Did the signage change for southbound traffic in the past 2 years? When I clinched this I would have been following the signs.

Thankfully I just uploaded my photos to my computer so that I could email you my update on OH 113.

The VideoLog shows that shield being posted by 2018.

Personally based on the odd situation, I would recommend keeping your clinch of PA 128 either way.  I could email you my photo if you need to see it directly.

Great, thanks! That's good enough proof for me.
