The bypass was opened this week and it is dedicated as B34. I don't know if the old route will really be L163 as indicated on OSM and I don't know if B314 will be truncated. Federal roads (A + B) are listed in the toll table (mauttabelle.de) but the latest version from 2021-11-14 still indicates the old alignment. In addition, E54 should be routed via the bypass but I don't know if it is really that way. I need to field-check it one day.

I must also check if E54 is routed via the new A98 section opened today.

I drove both new sections today to re-clinch deua system and to get closer to 100% for the BW region clinch.

Direction signs indicate "B34" for the Oberlauchringen bypass. km posts indicate "B34N". The actual mauttabelle (= truck toll list for all federal roads) valid since 2022-01-01 does not yet include the section and has B34 + B314 still through Oberlauchringen. The next mauttabelle will be published in early February. There are no "E54" on the new section just like there are no signs on the western bypass (dedicated as A98). There are E54 signs west of Tiengen and east of Oberlauchringen (at L162 junction) and an old one in Oberlauchringen west of B314.
GM indicates the bypass as A98 - plain wrong! :D OSM indicates the new section as B34 and the through road as L163. However, the km post still indicate B34 east of B314 and L163 only west of it. B314 is without number on OSM.

So, I'll just add a new B34n route for the bypass (Edit: Done) till the mauttabelle will clear the situation. BW is usually quite slow on rededications.

E54 is not signed on the new A98 section but still via B34 through Rheinfelden. I not sure if E54 is really signed via A98/A861 as we have it in HB but wanna keep it as-is because I made a field check back in 2015 (see update.csv entries for E54 from Sep 2015). I just don't remember if I also checked A98/A861 for signs. I saw today that there is no sign on A861 northbound but there is still a E54 sign on the parallel B316 eastbound at A98 exit 6 Lörrach-Ost.

Edit 2022-02-12: The mauttabelle (valid from tomorrow) does not yet include the change. However, the B463 Pforzheim bypass (opened in early 2019, also located in BW) was finally added. I hope that the B34/B314 change does not take 3 years too.....  :'(

mauttabelle as-of 2022-04-01 confirms what I did: bypass = B34n, through roads still B34 and B314 :)

E54 should be routed via the (Oberlauchringen) bypass but I don't know if it is really that way. I need to field-check it one day.

Confirmed by a map from the Federal Ministry of Transport (2023-01-01). Albeit is was not signed in the field.... I'll might have another field check soon.

Also confirmed by the map.

I have field-checked it.

There are no "E54" on the new (Oberlauchringen) section just like there are no signs on the western bypass (dedicated as A98). There are E54 signs west of Tiengen and east of Oberlauchringen (at L162 junction) and an old one in Oberlauchringen west of B314.

There is also an old E54 sign on the through road east of B314. I'll keep E54 through Oberlauchringen.

E54 is not signed on the new A98 section but still via B34 through Rheinfelden. I not sure if E54 is really signed via A98/A861 as we have it in HB but wanna keep it as-is because I made a field check back in 2015 (see update.csv entries for E54 from Sep 2015). I saw today that there is no sign on A861 northbound but there is still a E54 sign on the parallel B316 eastbound at A98 exit 6 Lörrach-Ost.

Driving B34-A861-A98 westbound, the first E54 sign on the motorway is on a distance signs just west of A98/A861 interchange. Keep as-is.

No change. Closing.
