NC: I-26

It looks like I-26Fau should replace Future I-26 south to here (the interchange south of NC 213) based on signage.

Yeah, does look like it.  Another example:

Between Exits 11 & 13 going 'SB' ('EB'):
May '13, no I-26 shield.
Apr '18, I-26 now there.

But, then again, same segment, but instead going 'NB' ('WB'):
No I-26 shield here, at any historical StreetView capture.

Then we have between Exits 9 & 11 going 'SB':
May '13, no I-26 shield.
Apr '18, now I-26 shield is there, plus the US-19/23 shields have been shifted a little bit farther south to join it.
(no corresponding shields going the other direction between these two exits)

Plus, if you look down at the road @ Exit 13, you're greeted with the following from Sep '21 imagery:

Maybe NCDOT just signed it down to the next interchange for continuity purposes.  I had no idea that there was a newer transition point until when I drove through the area Thursday and Sunday.

Anyway when looking at the FHWA map, I oddly saw an error I-70 shield on I-240 in Asheville.

I think the interchange is close enough for our purposes to fudge it.  Especially due to the signage.

I wasn't suggesting ending I-26 at the county line, merely confirming that FHWA extended the route further south than where we had it.
