S-Bahn Bodensee
« on: December 10, 2023, 07:45:36 am »
It's a railway system at the Lake Constance covering regions in Germany, Austria and Switzerland: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/S-Bahn_Bodensee
The system consists of other systems. Some routes are already in RB, some not yet.

S-Bahn Vorarlberg and S-Bahn St. Gallen are in RB.
S-Bahn Schaffhausen (the one to Singen in Germany) and S6+S61 in Germany are missing.

Changes to S-Bahn Bodensee from December 2022 (quoting wikipedia):
Quote

- New S6 Engen - Konstanz in Germany replacing the former Seehas line
- S5 Vorarlberg renamed to R5 because there is already a S5 in St. Gallen system.
- New chesg service 44

Changes from today (source + many news articles):
- New S61 Radolfzell - Stockach in Germany replacing the former Seehäsle line

The official site is indicating all but S61: https://s-bahn-bodensee.com/

Nonetheless, I don't know how to deal with it....

Such things weren't in existence when I looked at them (German wikipedia, official websites for the S-Bahn networks - including Bodensee) when I created the systems in Spring '23. Bodensee was using future tense.

Don't worry, I'll update Europe to the 2024 Timetable - I've been somewhat trying to since about September (the UK is, AFAICS, done), but information isn't easy to process and often subject to change. New maps make it a lot easier! It'll gradually happen over the next couple of months.

Also gone through every German-speaking country's S-bahn and bought in the 2024 timetable (where German wikipedia has updated). Only a few systems had changes - Hamburg reorganised its numbering system, Nuremburg swapped 3 branches around, Berlin flipped two branches around, Vaud decided to use R instead of S (being Francophonic).
