NC: US 158 Point Concerns
« on: January 04, 2024, 09:09:49 am »
(heading west from I-85 at Oxford)
1.  Consider removing or replacing OakParkRd.  The shaping point west of OakParkRd could arguably be made visible too.
2.  A point should be added at Old Durham Rd due to the Low Clearance Detour.  (probably affects US 501 and NC 57 like number 3)
3.  US501/57 could use a slight relocation.
4.  Consider replacing the shaping point west of NC49_S with a visible point.
5.  StaRd should be replaced with a nearby point.
6.  Consider replacing the shaping point west of NC119 with a visible point.
7.  The shaping point east of US29(153) should be replaced with a visible point.
8.  WilRd>-WitRd
9.  US220>-I-73 or I-73/220
10.  NC67 could use a slight relocation.
11.  HanMallRd>-HanMallBlvd
12.  FawRd should be replaced with nearby IdoRd (Idols Rd).
13.  MidDr should be slightly relocated.

To say that NC 57 is completely messed up in Roxboro is an understatement. Everything else looks fine.

US158_W still needs to be added back to NC 57.  Otherwise we should be good.

I went ahead and fixed it here.  (https://github.com/TravelMapping/HighwayData/pull/7168)

Thank you...

This particular error to fix explains what had been a mystery to me how NC 57 got messed up in Roxboro

So the US158_W point had the same coordinates as the US158_E point.  I copied/pasted the NC57_N point from NC 49 to hopefully fix this for good.

Mapmikey, please respond before Jim merges this in.
