I would make the IL 29 junction "9" and leave that shaping point alone.

I only suggested that, because there's a separate intersection between the interchange & IL-29.

Plus, you never know, hell might freeze over and they extend IL-6 to the north.   I'm betting Caterpillar would love that.

I believe that IDOT has started the process of demolishing the IL 6 SB bridge here if I remember correctly.
