So I don't actually think it's decommissioned. The resolution contradicts itself and makes it unclear whether the entire route is gone or only the portion on Bitterbrush Lane leading to the former prison site.

Meanwhile HRO still shows the portion along the I-15 frontage road, supporting the latter.

At this time, therefore, it looks like this is a truncation, not a full deletion, though that may change later if signs disappear or the rest goes poof from HRO. Something to watch.

I would keep an eye on this. Yes this is not a full decommissioning yet, but the state route landscape is so fluid in that part of the valley that we’ll probably see the rest removed soon enough. If I had to guess, it will probably come as a trade off with extending SR 131 north to Bangerter/154.
