TX: TX279 starting point relocated
« on: June 07, 2024, 03:48:06 pm »
The location of the start point of TX279 has been adjusted east a block in Brownwood. It still starts at US67/83, just at a new intersection.

I'm not convinced.
Nothing in the designation files.
Nothing in the designation changes shapefiles.
Minute Order search turned up nothing.
Statewide Planning Map agrees with the HB.
Insufficient detail in county grid map to make a determination one way or the other.
In GMSV (July 2023), there's full & unambiguous signage for the as-is route, including its 90° turn at FM2524, and endpoint at US67/84.
Most sign assemblies at FM2524 & US67/84 have a "TO" plate; those that don't did till recently.
Until there's more solid evidence to the contrary, I'll consider this a case of a missing TO.
