CA: CA-99 exit issues
« on: June 26, 2025, 12:05:43 pm »
missing -> 106A - if we have the NB 'on-ramp' separate @ 'Ave368' on the north side of Traver, we should have the southern part of that too, as it should fall past the 0.5 mile distance from the main '106' interchange.
127 -> split?
NEW -> 141 - Opened sometime between Oct '23 & Sept '24.
188 -> Should we split the interchange here?  Seems to me that CA-140 & CA-59 have a good distance of off-freeway mileage there between R & V streets.
248 -> *248 - both sets of RIRO ramps closed by July '15.  No evidence however of any exit number ever posted here that I could find.
missing -> *251 - Clark Drive.  Closed between Oct '12 & Apr '14.
291 -> split into 291A/B?  Exactly 0.5 between each set of ramps.
324 -> CA113 ? No exit number posted as of Jun '23.
367 -> CA149 ? No exit number posted as of Oct '24.

I made every change apart from the 59/140 split in Merced. I don't think this is the only case of this in the state, so I want to see what we are doing for similar situations in the state. Given that Caltrans mileposts the frontage roads for those two blocks as part of CA 59, I'm inclined to make the change in the coming days.

Should there be a point at the new SR 132 freeway? Or at least one on SR 132 for Needham Street?

Might want to double check the '291' change before it gets pulled in. ;)

291 is tricky. NB exit 291 is half a mile south of SB exits 291 A/B. I can change it to A/B instead of 291/291AB, but then we'd have a case where signed Exit 291A isn't near the 291A point.

Then do 291 & 291B.  The '291AB' label isn't a valid one to start.
