Might it be worth implementing some sort of "minimum" standard for what types of routes should be included?

I know some of the MT secondary highways are gravel, but most of those I've driven have been acceptable. Same with the western half of Montezuma Canyon Road in Arizona, though the rental Toyota Corolla might not have been the best choice there.  :-\

Perhaps signage is not enough when considering "roads" that are not official at the state level or above. Could be a topic to discuss further.

TN OVTrl has US412_N which should be US421_N

The Juan Bautista de Anza National Historic Trail has a few signs scattered around the Bay Area. I wasn't able to travel much of it, but saw signs directing travelers from I-80 to San Pablo Ave and from CA 4 to Byron Hwy. There were more signs in San Francisco and on US 101 near Gilroy.

According to the NPS map, the path between I-80 exit 23 and CA 4 exit 6 follows city streets and rural roads through Rodeo and Crockett, but I didn't notice any signs while I took the westbound path that best matched the line on the map (McEwen Rd - Carquinez Scenic Dr - Pomona St - San Pablo Ave).

I would change the north end of VA OVTrl to AbiMusGro (Abingdon Muster Grounds) from AbiMusPla .

Make of this what you will:

https://maps.app.goo.gl/TpCGLio6UNNXPK6s7

This is where the road that is designated as the Pony Express Trail throughout western Utah enters Nevada. And yet TM shows the PE Trail on US-93A and US-93 from Wendover to Ely.

Maybe because of this and this?

I'm sure there wasn't just one Pony Express route, since that wouldn't have been very useful. However, NPS has this GIS site for what they think are all the national historic trails, and it doesn't show anything on that US-93 route:

https://nps.maps.arcgis.com/apps/webappviewer/index.html?id=24fc463363f54929833580280cc1a751

Who puts up these signs, anyway?

VA WRTrl may have been realigned onto the Colonial Parkway east of Williamsburg. Today I saw signs for it on SR 132Y pointing right on SR 132 and on SR 132 north pointing left on US 60. Nothing on GSV, so they must be recent. I don't know if there were any signs going the other way (probably not because the parkway is closed).

There actually is one eastbound pointing right on SR 132, installed in 2023-2024.

Found a spur of the Lewis and Clark Trail in Atchison, KS which goes to an informational board. Signs have been there for a while, but only posting this now because they recently moved the board so it's not stuck behind some dumpsters.

At K-7, technically the arrow should be pointing straight not left

N 2nd and BC entrance (used the 2021 image because the lighting was better, still there as of Saturday)

New informational board location

I ran by that small sign almost every day for 4 years and never noticed it until this past weekend...  :pan:

Anyway the broken concurrencies along US 301 and VA 2 still need to be addressed.

Somehow, seeing the Pony Express Trail on I-580 seems--what's the word?--inappropriate.

Anyway I found a missing segment of VA WRTrl along US 301/VA 2. It follows SR 651 (second intersection north of the Pamunkey River) to SR 602 north of VA 30 to SR 600 to SR 649 to SR 648 north to US 301/VA 2 where it continues on SR 656 to SR 654 to join the next section split off of US 301/VA 2.
