And THAT, I think, just about wraps it up for Operation Arkansas Cleanup.
Some final notes...

Banners vs. suffixes:
Routes (EG, business, truck, spur) that may be signed as bannered routes in other jurisdictions are signed with a letter suffix in Arkansas. A small minority of routes did have banner plates above the shields, but even these, as in all cases, contained a letter suffix after the route number in the shield.
Thus I standardized state highway waypoint labels to use letter suffixes instead of banners.
The only exception was, I left AR US412BusHun AR23Cit as-is -- it's signed for vanilla AR23 at its north end, and TO AR74 at its south end. Thus, I didn't see any example of a route signed with a 'C' for City suffix in the field. I'm open to changing this.
There may be other state highway City routes I've not come across on my cleanup of the US routes etc. I'll search thru the shapefiles and see what I can come up with, if there's anything I can check out in GMSV.

High-numbered routes:
I didn't do another pass to add in high-numbered routes, such as the signed AR9xx routes mapcat & I discussed via PM. I figure this task would be more easily handled as part of usaar development.

Odd Y legs:
For example, AR US165 AR1_S in Back Gate officially connects to AR1Y; AR1 proper is the east-west leg that connects here. However, AR1Y is not signed as such: at the south end there's just signage for each direction of US165; at the north end there's signage for vanilla AR1, which is the more sensible route for thru traffic to take. (Looking at satellite view, the left turn onto actual-AR1-proper isn't even all that feasible...) As this is what thru travelers following signs for AR1 would be doing, I just went with the "no-build" option here. So yeah, however you may wanna handle this when the time for usaar comes...
ISTR there may have been another case where I did something similar, but I can't remember where/what it was.

A few hours after posting that I remembered that as an unsigned route, it shouldn't get a numbered route label anyway, just a local street label. Derp.
HarSt it is...

I went ahead & searched the shapefiles anyway, finding 12 'C' routes. The majority were US Business routes, and a couplefew are signed in the field as 'B' routes, including the AR33B in Augusta that got relabeled two posts back.

Quote
Thus, I didn't see any example of a route signed with a 'C' for City suffix in the field.
...and I still didn't. It's safe to say they probably don't exist in-the-field, despite what AHTD's shapefiles or county/city maps have to say.

--

Some more final notes: edits I haven't made yet, pending verification that signage has changed in the field:
• Most significantly, the extension of I-555
• Items in red text in this post
• I-57 -- AASHTO approved it as a full-on interstate, IIRC. I was waiting on confirmation of signage before adding it. A photo circulated on the Internet a while back of a Future I-57 sign being fabricated in AHTD's sign shop. No reports of it being spotted in the wild yet. This may complicate things... Sections of US64, US67, and US167 will need to get I-57(##) style labels once I-57 or I-57Fut is added. IMO, I think I-57(##) labels are acceptable with a Future Interstate, as opposed to I-57Fut(##) or such. (I think I saw this done somewhere once upon a time, then later relabeled upon promotion to full Interstate, with a few retained as AltLabels.)
  - No need to make another pass thru & edit labels, potentially leaving behind a bunch of AltLabel clutter
  - It's intuitive what they mean
  - Shorter labels, shorter character count, in a well-known label format

mapcat, shall I hand Arkansas over to you now?

Thanks...I never wished to take possession of Arkansas, but will be happy to start drafting usaar after the semester ends next week. Judging from its size and a busier work schedule next year, I suspect this will take about 6 months, so don't expect a lot to happen very soon.

Would it make sense for you to maintain AR while developing USAAR, and then have AR revert back to me afterwards?

OK. I'll leave you to claim it when ready.
If I think any changes need to be made in the meantime, I'll post about them.

Since there isn't an official 'usaar' thread yet, I thought I'd quickly post this in here.

AR-612 opened back on 04/30/18.  Needs points on AR-112 & I-49/US-62/US-71.  I just spent a little time (was board), and got it added properly into OSM.

Thanks for adding it to OSM. I’ll make the changes to the existing files when I draft the new route, probably sometime in June.
