VA I-95 near the Springfield Interchange. A bit south of it. Or wait, now I'm second-guessing myself. Was it closer to Richmond?
IIRC this was mentioned upthread -- only one of the segments, noting that it was tied but not specifying what with.

OK, I just cheated and looked at VA-region-traveled.tmg, and the two segments immediately south of the beltway have 137 travelers. Which ones have 138? Dunno. Anyone else?

Edit: I made a temporary mod to siteupdate.cpp, and found the segments. It was easier than writing something new to parse graphs. :) They are not where I expected.

There are 2 of them tied, traveled by 138 of our 241 users, and they're consecutive edges along a single route.  What do you think?
That there's a shaping point shared between those two edges?

No, 3 consecutive exits off a limited-access highway.

I decided to look through my own travels, figuring I was likely one of the travelers, and I think I've found it:

DE I-95 4A 4B
DE I-95 4B 5A

Those segments show as being driven by 92.62% of DE I-95's total 149 drivers, and if my math is correct that would work out to 138.

These are the winners.  Lots of people on the Delaware Turnpike.

Next TM traveler trivia question: of all of the graphs generated for the METAL project (http://travelmapping.net/graphs/) which one has the most-traveled least-traveled segment?  That is, look at each graph and find its least-traveled segment.  Then find the largest such value.  Guesses?

TM-Master!  :P

I'm guessing you don't want to include the everything one. Asia has an awful lot of untravelled (and so least-travelled) segments, but I'm not sure that's the winner.

The master graph definitely has some 0-traveler segments, so it's part of the 334-way tie for last place in this ranking.

In the other 52 graphs, every segment is clinched by at least one traveler.  The question is, for which graph is that minimum number of clinchers on any segment maximized.

The "area" graphs tend to be clustered near the top of this list because they're most likely to be in places people go like big cities.  However, the winner, and it's the winner by a significant margin, is a region graph.

Don't you mean, the other 65 graphs?

Misread it as most least-travelled sections (I think Europe wins that as it has so many edges, and fewer travellers than North America), rather than the highest value for least-travelled section  :-[

Got the answer you are looking for as soon as I realised what it was you were asking for. A small graph in an urban area without many routes to deal with.

I deleted a bunch that were invalid.  For some reason, the France "IGNORE TEST" systems confuse graph generation.

Related to that, if I can get a test DB to be more usable, can those test systems be moved out of the production DB?

They break the assumption that an edge lives within a single region.
https://github.com/TravelMapping/DataProcessing/issues/205
The region of an edge is that assigned to its canonical segment, which is that passed to the HGEdge constructor, which is the first segment on a concurrency list for concurrent segments.

For our graphs with at least one traveled segment, here's what we have.  Possibly the most surprising to me is that, given the size of the MD state highway system, that every segment in the state has been traveled by at least 4 TM users.

Related to that, if I can get a test DB to be more usable, can those test systems be moved out of the production DB?
No! There's no point hiding them when it's easier to make them go live, which I hope to do by the end of the month.

Sounds like a good plan to me, thanks.
