We now have over 500,000 unique locations used as waypoints in some TM route.  503,967 at the moment, to be exact.

I added a bunch when I finally updated my list for Tennessee...noted nobody's included several of the TN routes I've been on.

I think Jim refers to the  number of unique locations (second to last line) in TM routes - not waypoints used by TM travelers.

What is the single longest, by mileage, root file in the project?
Can be in an active, preview, or even devel system. Nothing commented out, though.

I think you've analyzed it and you want us to guess? I think it might be this: http://travelmapping.net/hb/index.php?u=michih&r=rus.ah030

The TM database knows, but I won't give the answer in case this is a trivia question instead of a request for this information.  The one @michih mentions is the 7th-longest.

Though it is the longest that is also an entire connected route.

There's 11 roots over 1500 miles (worked out manually).

No, but rus.ah006irk should be rus.ah006 and arg.rn040 might soon beat them all (> 3,000mi) :D

Why? Yes, the former is 857.67 miles (32.3%) longer than the latter, but it's clearly the case that people are much more likely to drive in European Russia than Siberia. As such, the European Russian bit is more major.

The 11th over 1500 miles is the AH4 in China (all in Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region). Over half of that distance is freeway!
