IL: IL15 in East St Louis

The west end of IL 15 is incorrect. Between an unnumbered third ramp of I-55/64 Exit 1 (call it 1C?) and Missouri Ave, it follows the Barack Obama Ave/Main St couplet, Broadway, and the 9th St/10th St couplet. It's signed at most of the turns.

Westbound from Missouri onto 9th St

Westbound end sign on Main St approaching the ramp to I-55/64

Eastbound from Barack Obama Ave to Broadway

Eastbound from 10th St onto Missouri

I wonder if it had something to do with the I-70 project.

There is an "End 15" sign as Main Street goes under the I-55/64 mainline. I am going to make that the "I-55" endpoint - well, midway between the two one-ways approaching Broadway - and it will not have a direct I-55 counterpart because the exit would require an extension down ramps down to Exit 1A. That is to say, a traveler coming into Illinois would end their I-55 count at 1A and pick up IL 15 without the onramp mileage counting. Does that sound like a good solution?

Well, the end sign appears as early as 2007. The I-70 reroute is more recent, isn't it?

Whether it starts on the ramp (which doesn't mention IL 15 FWIW) or on the street below doesn't matter to me, so go with whatever seems logical to you.
