IL: New I-57 Interchange in Bourbannais

BOURBONNAIS — Perhaps two decades in the making, the date for the opening of Interstate 57’s 318 interchange at Bourbonnais Parkway in Bourbonnais has been set.

The invite-only, ribbon-cutting ceremony has been set for Nov. 2. The time for the event has not yet been set, said Bourbonnais Mayor Paul Schore.

“We don’t have exact (ceremony) details yet. We are working with IDOT and the governor’s office, but Nov. 2 is the day it will open,” he said. It is also not yet known at what time on Nov. 2 the interchange will be open to motorists.

As the article says, the exit number will be 318. Interchange will be at Bourbannais Parkway/E 6000N Rd.
