US 17:1. The shaping point on the Shalotte Bypass could be replaced by a visible point at
Smith Ave (SmiAve).
2. A point at
Lanvale Rd (LanRd) would be useful to help put the route more in tolerance to the east.
3. 16thAve, WhiStExt, NC58_N, NC43, NC55_W, NC55_S, US17Bus, NC308_S, US17BusEde_S, and US17BusEde_N can be removed as alternate labels as they are not currently in-use.
4. I would make KelLpRd KelLoopRd.
5. I think that PaiLn should be made hidden. (also affects NC 58)
6. The shaping point north of Vanceboro could be replaced by visible points at
Kite Town Rd and/or
Wilmar Rd (WilRd).
7. The shaping point between 176 and 180 could be removed if you wanted it to.
8. The shaping point north of Corey Crossroads could be replaced by visible points at
Joe Mobley Rd (JoeMobRd) and
Dan Peele Rd (DanPeeRd).
9. The shaping point south of US 64 could be replaced by a visible point at
Mill Inn Rd.
10. I would replace WarRd with
George Leggett Rd (GeoLegRd),
Pleasant Oak Rd (PleOakRd), and
Woodard Rd (WooRd). (also affects US 13) (I tried avoiding WooRd, but that Sans Souci Ferry got me. This also tempts me to think that a point should be added on NC 45 at
Sans Souci Rd (SansSouRd).)
11. CypRd should be replaced by the nearby
Gov Eden House Rd (GovEdenRd or GEHouRd).
12. NC37 should be NC37_S.
13. The shaping point between Edenton and Hertford should be
BearSwaRd (East Bear Swamp Rd). (also affects NC 37)
14. I think that the shaping point between ForBunRd and US17BusEli_S should be replaced with visible points at
Trinkaloe Rd (TriRd) and/or
Forest Park Rd (ForParkRd).
15. I would add COADr for the College of Albemarle-Elizabeth City to replace the shaping point north of US17BusEli_N. This is probably the best candidate for a point on the north side of Elizabeth City in general. (even with 7 miles between here and the north end of US17BypEli) (also affects US 158)
NC 37:1. BeaRd and NC32/94_S need to be recentered.
2. I would replace the shaping point just south of the Albemarle Sound Bridge with a visible point at
Breezy Banks Rd (BreBanRd). (also affects NC 32 and NC 94)
3. It looks like at some point NC 37 was rerouted to follow
US 17 to the north end of
US 17 BUS (Hertford).
Then it follows a wrong-way concurrency with US 17 BUS back to the correct routing.4. MainSt should be
MainSt_E and relocated to the first intersection east of the railroad tracks.
5. A shaping point is needed just east of NC32Ede_S as NC 37 goes out of tolerance here.
6. The shaping point north of NC32_N should be replaced with a visible point at
Zion Rd.
7. I would add a point at
Carters Rd (CarRd) as the route almost goes out of tolerance here.
8. The US158Bus points should be E and W instead of S and N.
US 17 BUS (Hertford):1. SR1125 should be
DobSt_W (Dobbs St).
2. SR1110 should be
GruSt (Grubb St).
US 17 BUS (Elizabeth City): NC34 should be
RoadSt_S.
