MD 211 is signed

MD 211 is signed along Sargent Rd between DC/MD (implied) and MD 212. Is there a reason it’s not included?

There was a time in the not-too-distant past where it WASN'T signed at Chillum Rd (MD 501).  I recall it wasn't signed at all during my DC time (2008-2012).

MD 211 was officially decommissioned in 1997 (per Wiki anyway). It is not in the 2016 or 2018 HLR documents for Prince George's County.

So... looks like someone missed the memo/referenced an out of date document with those signs at MD 501.

Looking in the area of the GSV link in the below AARoads Forum post, it looks like the sign for MD 211 south of MD 212 was never removed.

The signs hanging above 501 and the old one near 212 were the only ones I saw. Is it worth checking with MDOT to see why the ones at 501 were installed recently?
