Sorry for the short notice, but this afternoon (8/15/2024) is a good opportunity for me to apply some security updates on the TM/METAL server.  I expect just a brief outage or two when reboots might be required.

Updates are installed and the server has been rebooted.  While I was in, I updated all of the software, not just the OS.  Best I can tell, everything continues to work properly.  Let me know if you encounter any problems.

Operating System and software updates are planned to take place on the TM server on Tuesday, January 14.  Expect occasional interruptions and brief down times.  More lengthy outages are possible but not expected.

Just starting now.  I expect at least two reboots.  Hopefully the upgrades don't break anything that will take extra work to fix up.

Time permitting, I hope to apply some security updates to the server this afternoon, Wednesday 4/16, after 2 PM EDT.  It will involve one or two reboots taking the server down for a few minutes at a time.  Of course, things could always go bad and downtimes could become longer.
