I-44:
1.   15 should have a graph connection with I-44BLJop and MO 66.  (also affects I-49 and US 71)
2.   Should 74 be MO744? (with added graph connection)
3.   It looks like there may be a new Exit 103.
4.   I think that the line in Mapview should be kept south of MO 17 east of 153.
5.   It seems like US66HisStL should be checked thoroughly in comparison with I-44 especially in Mapview.  US66HisStL and I-44 cross each other in areas where they should not be may be the best way to explain it without going too specific.
6.   Is this route out of lateral east of 230?
7.   Should 274 be split into 274A and 274B? (also affects US 50)

I-70:  Should 248A have a graph connection with MO 115?

US 65: EValWatMillRd should be shortened.

US 67:
1.   *Based on this map, I think that MOsAB_StL should be LadRd (Ladue Rd).
2.   *Should the point be added for the interchange at Bayer Dr (BayDr)?
3.   *I am unsure if a point is necessary at Adie Rd or not.
4.   *I think that OldStChaRd should be shortened to OldSCRd.
5.   *I do not think that McDonnell Blvd is part of MO TT.
6.   I think I would change DunRd to TayRd (Taylor Rd).
7.   WWasSt should just be WasSt if possible.
8.   OHalFerRd should be shortened.
*Also affects US66HisFlo

MO 28:  Does this extend to MO Z south of I-44 (Exit 163)?

MO 100:  It looks like this should extend to 3rd St under I-44/I-55.  (END sign proves it)

MO 185:  It looks like the I-44 point needs to be relocated (and relabeled?).

I-44:

1. What’s wrong with what’s there now? I am not sure I understand.
2. It’s only one ramp, so it doesn’t have a number, technically? I can move the point to the end of the ramp, but their points will not match because that would wildly distort both routes.
3. New exit is on Google but not OSM. Adding.
5. I do not think this can be avoided given how Historic 66 is effectively (or actually) the frontage road in many areas. I can throw in a lot of shaping points, but I don’t know if that will solve it.
6. Lateral? Out of the accepted margin, you mean? That’s the case in a dozen other places too. I went through the entire I-44 and added two dozen shaping points I hope will help.
7. And moved westward, I think. Exit 274 is not in use so I can manipulate it without issue.

I-70:  Should 248A have a graph connection with MO 115?
It can, I guess.

US 67:
1.   *Based on this map, I think that MOsAB_StL should be LadRd (Ladue Rd).
2.   *Should the point be added for the interchange at Bayer Dr (BayDr)?

8.   OHalFerRd should be shortened.
*Also affects US66HisFlo
2. I would say no. This exit is specifically for the Bayer/Monsanto business parks, and Google Maps even shades the road as private.
4. I think it’s fine.
8. I’m renaming it because there is a mismatch between the US 67 and Historic 66 waypoint names (Hist 66 intersects it by I-270).

Quote
MO 28:  Does this extend to MO Z south of I-44 (Exit 163)?
This is a distinction without a difference, I think, given the tiny distance and signs at the ramps.

Quote
MO 100:  It looks like this should extend to 3rd St under I-44/I-55.  (END sign proves it)
Seems weird, but should it be 3rdSt or I-44/55, although the latter implies a direct connection it doesn’t have? (Did you see the “To 44-55-64-70” single interstate shield westbound approaching Broadway?)

Quote
MO 185:  It looks like the I-44 point needs to be relocated (and relabeled?).
Would that be Missouri State Route AF? :P But anyway, that was made with the intention of spirit of the connection, not the letter. I can change it to AF.
This also marginally affects Historic 66, although 66 is signed via Springfield Road, and I have a typo in the point name (MS185_N/S.) I’ll also add Cumberland Way to both routes to help with shaping.

It is clear to me when I look at the interchange in Mapview.

Oddly enough, MO 744 does not even have a point here at the moment....  Adding the I-44 point onto MO 744 should suffice instead of moving it to the end of the ramp.

Yes, I meant outside of the red lines.  I will relook at this once it is entered into the HB.

US 67:

2.   *Should the point be added for the interchange at Bayer Dr (BayDr)?
Quote
2. I would say no. This exit is specifically for the Bayer/Monsanto business parks, and Google Maps even shades the road as private.

Fair enough. We include these in other states (I am thinking ATTWay on US 202 in NJ), but MO 340 is close enough by that I do not think this is an issue.

Quote
4.   *I think that OldStChaRd should be shortened to OldSCRd.
Quote
4. I think it’s fine.

I would say that it does not fit under the "Too Many Words" clause in the manual.  Maybe I should propose a manual update here.  (my response to 8 would apply here as well)

MO 28:

MO 28:  Does this extend to MO Z south of I-44 (Exit 163)?
Quote
This is a distinction without a difference, I think, given the tiny distance and signs at the ramps.

Yeah, I am currently looking for clarified guidance on how to handle some of these dangling ends.  I just found one at the east end of PA 136 this past Saturday that I mentioned in the NY 9A thread.  The east end of PA 184 seems to be similar to this as well.

Quote
MO 100:  It looks like this should extend to 3rd St under I-44/I-55.  (END sign proves it)

Definitely go with 3rdSt.  I am not sure that I previously saw that shield, but there are no driect ramps to/from I-44 here.

Jim emailed me your update while I was working on this post so that will hopefully be in tonight's update.

I did not get to the MO stuff yesterday, but I am working on it now.  Any further comments I may have will be posted below:

US 40:  I saw a ton of prefixes on this route.  Probably too many to list..
US 50:  SBucTarRd seems to be a prefix.
US 61:
1. Maybe remove ECouRd?  I doubt that it is really needed for shaping, and it confuses me having it here.
2. StJohChuRd should be shortened. (same for US 67)
US 65:  EEvaRd>-EvaRd (or something else)
US 66 Historic (St. Louis):  I think that label order should be MO185_S, MO185_N, and then MO185.  I guess MO 28 also ended here back in the day hence the signage from here.
MO 744:  Added EldAve (ramp to I-44). (I did not see this in the files Jim forwarded me.)

US 66 Historic (St. Louis): (Mapview fixes)
1.  A shaping point between FR249 and HolRd along MO OO. (preferably just south of where the I-44 shaping point is)
2.  A shaping point between MOsB_E and MO38_W along MO OO. (preferably just south of where the I-44 shaping point is)
3.  I think this should meet I-44BLLeb at the MO W intersection instead of at the I-44 interchange.  (See the south end of PA 44 for an example of this)
4.  A second shaping point west of the current one on I-44 between 135 and 140 should fix this one easily.
5.  Between MOsT and ToMO133, adding points here should put it south of I-44.
6.  Between MOsZ_E and MOsJ, adding a point or two should put it south of I-44.
7.  A shaping point between I-44(169) and I-44(172) would make it more clearly north.
8.  I guess it should be south of I-44 between I-44(172) and I-44(176).  Between I-44(176) and MOsC_W, another point would be useful to make it look more clearly south.
9.  Should there be a concurrency with I-44BL (Rolla) starting with the roundabout east of the western end?  I think there is a broken concurrency or two here.
10.  It may be too far north between US63_N and MO68_N.
11.  A shaping point on I-44 between 214 and 218 should suffice in this area.
12.  I am not sure what is going on between MOsJ_E and BalRd.
13.  Between BalRd and MO185_N, it depends on whether it follows MO WW or not.
14.  Does it stay south of I-44 between MO185_S and I-44(230)? Or north between I-44(230) and I-44(239)?  (Also StLouInnRd should be SLInnRd.)
15.  Check for lateral between MOs_O and MO100_W.
16.  Is there a broke concurrency between I-44(275) and I-44(276)?  Also I-44(274) should be split into I-44(274A) and I-44(274B).

If anyone can find a broken concurrency in MO, please post it here.  I think there was a major break somewhere, but I have to find it.

Here's a diff between the concurrency detection logs from the last two site updates. 11/10 is the "left" file and 11/11 the "right" file.  Hopefully this will point you in the right direction.

The reason I think this is because I oddly gained 37 miles last night. (I am at 39603 miles now after being at 39566 miles yesterday.)  I tried to be careful with I-64/US 40 due to us still discussing items there.

It looks like I-44/US 50 and I-64/US 40 are good. Not updating the US66HisFlo I-44 point did cause one.  (fixed here:  https://github.com/TravelMapping/HighwayData/pull/5320)

I did not see any issues in Illinois, and I currently have no mileage in Wisconsin at all so I am unsure what may have occurred.

I must have been seeing the 9s as 6s or something lol.  Anyway I think we are good then.  Beyond the US66HisFlo one (which I did edit even though I do not want to do the rest of the US 67 concurrency until I see a correct file for that route), we should be good.

Many shaping points were added to I-44 so a mileage increase of a few miles makes a lot of sense.

US 61:
1. Maybe remove ECouRd?  I doubt that it is really needed for shaping, and it confuses me having it here.
It keeps a straight line on the state line. I’ll rename it to StaLineRd.
Quote
US 66 Historic (St. Louis):  I think that label order should be MO185_S, MO185_N, and then MO185.  I guess MO 28 also ended here back in the day hence the signage from here.
If it’s to change, it needs to be _N, _S, [no suffix] because the “southern” junction is for 185 northbound. I do think there is merit in rearranging which point is the suffixless one.
Quote
MO 744:  Added EldAve (ramp to I-44). (I did not see this in the files Jim forwarded me.)
Whoops.

Quote
US 66 Historic (St. Louis): (Mapview fixes)
2.  A shaping point between MOsB_E and MO38_W along MO OO. (preferably just south of where the I-44 shaping point is)
This is one of the places where I caution that Old 66 is running so close to I-44 it could take a dozen shaping points just between exits to keep it on the “correct side” of the freeway.

Quote
8.  I guess it should be south of I-44 between I-44(172) and I-44(176).  Between I-44(176) and MOsC_W, another point would be useful to make it look more clearly south.
Actually, it is WITH I-44 between these two points - notice there is no other bridge over Little Piney Creek. (Arlington Outer Road dead-ends in Arlington.)

Quote
9.  Should there be a concurrency with I-44BL (Rolla) starting with the roundabout east of the western end?  I think there is a broken concurrency or two here.
I see what you mean here. I think maybe it’s not a broken concurrency, but a mis-implied concurrency, as currently plotted out?

Quote
10.  It may be too far north between US63_N and MO68_N.
It needs a lot of shaping points.

Quote
13.  Between BalRd and MO185_N, it depends on whether it follows MO WW or not.
Not WW. Service Road on south side, intersecting 185 at Elmont Road.

Quote
14.  Does it stay south of I-44 between MO185_S and I-44(230)? Or north between I-44(230) and I-44(239)?  (Also StLouInnRd should be SLInnRd.)
Ah, it hops frontage roads at Exit 230. How about I just call it AnaRd?
Oh, look at that, there’s an entirely new alignment for MO 47 in St. Clair. Or it’s not new and Google never updated!

Quote
16.  Is there a broke concurrency between I-44(275) and I-44(276)?  Also I-44(274) should be split into I-44(274A) and I-44(274B).
I split the 274 points and copied 275.

Further updates done here:  https://github.com/TravelMapping/HighwayData/pull/5333

Done by me:
I-44 BL (Lebanon):  Edited OldUS66>-OldUS66_E.  (OldUS66 is maintained as an alternate label.)

Other comments:
US 65:  EBatSt>-BatSt, EDivSt>-DivSt
US 66 Historic (St. Louis):
1.  MOsD_N>-MOsD or MOsD_Jop?
2.  The I-44 line still briefly goes south of this route just west of Exit 118, east of Exit 135, east of Exit 179, east of Exit 214, and east of Exit 218 (twice), .
3.  I-44BL (Rolla) is off at 14thSt (MOsE_Phe?) and I-44_E causing a broken concurrency with this route and US 63.  I guess I need you to determine how to relabel 14thSt when you sync it.
4.  The I-44 line still briefly goes north of this route just west of Exit 189, west of Exit 239, and west of Exit 247.
5.  The I-44 line is both north and south of the route between 195 and 203 when it should not.
6.  Another shaping point just south of LolBraRd west of the I-44 shaping point should take care of it in this area.
7.  I think we may have a broken concurrency with I-44BLPac between MO100_E and I-44(256) and between 1stSt and HilVwDr (should be relabeled?).

Datacheck FP added here:  https://github.com/TravelMapping/HighwayData/pull/5335

The only way I-44 and Historic 66 will be able to be on the "correct" sides of each other in these cases, where 66 is functionally a frontage road, will be to add shaping points at every curve between those points.

Pull request: https://github.com/TravelMapping/HighwayData/pull/5354

Done by me:  UnivDr>-UniDr on I-44BL (Rolla), US 63, and US 66 Historic (St. Louis).

I will try to sipher through everything later this week to try to get everything down here that is left.

Other comments after update:
I-44 BL (Pacific, MO): HilVwDr>-HilDr  (also affects US 66 Historic)

(11-23-2021):
I-44:
1. Moving +X31a to http://www.openstreetmap.org/?lat=38.130250&lon=-91.302427 should keep the line fully north of Historic US 66.
2.  Adding a +X36a at http://www.openstreetmap.org/?lat=38.302803&lon=-91.072208 should keep the line fully south of Historic US 66.
3.  Adding a +X40a at http://www.openstreetmap.org/?lat=38.379488&lon=-90.968476 should keep the line fully north of Historic US 66.
4.  I previously removed unused alternate label 208(55).

Otherwise, I think everything is good beyond MO 28 and MO 100.  I still think both should be extended.  In the case of MO 28, I guess it has always extended at US 66 Historic.

One other thing:
Quote
I-44:
1.   15 should have a graph connection with I-44BLJop and MO 66.  (also affects I-49 and US 71)

Looking at Mapview, the I-44BLJop and MO66 point at its eastern end should be the same coordinates as the I-44 15 point.
