QC: QC 339 rerouted in L'Assomption
« on: August 06, 2024, 10:07:34 pm »
Seems like QC 339 was rerouted slightly to the west, at an extension of Boulevard Hector-Papin. The new end is at 45.8214550, -73.4326658 and the old road has been dead ended on both ends.

Nuts they decided to put up 'STOP' signs for the new right/left turn.  Kinda stupid IMO, unless they really think people don't pay that much attention to new alignments.

I mean I could see it if it was a really sharp turn and they didn't want people to take the corner too fast (like here on the SD/IA border where they added stop signs in 2023), but it doesn't seem that sharp to me.
