I swung by on Sunday to see if signage had changed, and it hasn't since Mark was there. Doesn't WVDOT have a schematic or something for the project that shows the endpoints?

I am still checking whenever in the area and have seen nothing.  That Sheetz has become a regular stop for me at the east end.

StreetView finally revisited the area on I-81 in Nov '24, and the WV-243 signage is now shown there.  They even took the SB offramp.

This has allowed me to look a little bit around to see if I could find anything that had been missed so-far.

Did find this new road signage @ I-81 that shows a WV-243 that isn't a stand alone shield.  There's one on each side.

Sadly, couldn't find anything new at the supposed western end.  Same goes for the 'eastern' end @ US-11.

So, still on a wait & see approach here before I add it.

I just sent an email to WVDOT's general contact email asking about the signing of WV 115 (east of US 340, most specifically at WV 9) and WV 243 (outside of I-81 Exit 8 ).

Nice.  We'll get it added once those signs are up, due to not knowing for sure how they'll deal with the western end of VV-243.

No new signs for WV 243 as of earlier today.  I almost skipped on checking it due to the heavy rain that slowed me down big time on I-81 in MD, but it had cleared up enough by Martinsburg for me to check.
