TX: I-37 southern end ???
« on: June 29, 2025, 05:29:58 am »
Do we have another situation for I-37's southern end like I-35 where it officially goes beyond the freeway part?

All the streetblades beyond the 'old' US-181/TX-35 interchange ramps at the end of the freeway reference it as 'IH-37' all the way to the coast line @ Shoreline Blvd.

The statewide planning map shows I-37's section ending where Carrizo Street would cross (the gore for the terminal interchange). We'll see if anything changes when US 181 moves.

FHWA concurs with the exact location; the continuation is NHS but not Interstate.
