Indonesia notes
« on: June 15, 2024, 02:32:05 pm »
If someone wants to have a go, here's some info:

https://sigpjj.binamarga.pu.go.id/v1/iyo/page/view/?id=3&title=Kelas+Jalan+ASEAN+Highway is finally loading again, and shows the exact routes of the Asian Highways.

For the National Highways, go to https://sigpjj.binamarga.pu.go.id/v1/iyo/page/view/ and select "Jaringan Jalan" and "Kondisi Jalan Nasional" on the left. Unfortunately they are unlabeled. You can click "Nomor Ruas dan Label" and "Nomor Ruas Status" to get some sort of section numbers.

Of course, now that I'm ready, the links are dead. I did find https://gisportal.binamarga.pu.go.id/portal/apps/mapviewer/index.html with the RN_NAT_PG and Kemantapan IRI 1 2024 layers, but there seems to be nothing with the section numbers.

So this is what you have to do to follow Jalan Tol 1 westbound. Ew.

Have you checked https://web.archive.org/ ?

There are two broken concurrencies in IDN between T and AH routes, see https://courses.teresco.org/metal/hdx/?load=idn.nmp

It's an interactive map...I don't think archive.org would work. (I did download the PDFs earlier; no idea if they still work.)

Anyway, more overlaps may break in the near future, but I'll fix them.

Update and rework of the island of Jawa is up for update tonight.
@si404 what is your source for the designations T6B, T6T, and T8B? I'm assuming B=barat (west) and T=timur (east), but I'm not seeing these anywhere on signage. Also, do you have sources for T10, T12, and T19? They're not on the 2019 log or https://id.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daftar_jalan_tol_di_Indonesia (I admit I didn't pay attention to route signage when checking the exit numbers).

They are/were all marked as the designation we have on OSM.

It looks like the B and T aren't signed and those routes are just 6 or 8 6B/T split (also, how dumb was it to use the same colour at the top of the hexagons and only small writing to distinguish between the Jalan Tol and the Jalan Nasional?)

Soreang-Pasirkoja (T10) has a couple signs calling it a spur of T4, added in 2019-2021. This does match OSM.

Depok-Antasari (T12) does not seem to have any signs giving it any number. I see where OSM labels it, but without another source, and especially given that it wouldn't fit the numbering if T10 doesn't exist, I'm changing it to JTDA. Similarly, I can't find any T19 signs on Bekasi-Cawang-Kp. Melayu (Becakayu on signs, hence JTB). If sources are found, it'll be easy enough to change back.

That sounds very sensible.
